My Honest Review of the Dezin Electric Pot: A Daily Desk Essential

September 30, 2025

Okay, so let me tell you about the little gadget I’ve been using basically every single day since February 2025 — the Dezin Electric Pot. This thing is my workday lifesaver.

It’s 1.6L, which is just enough for me to whip up noodles (which, let’s be honest, is 90% of what I make 😂), heat up soup, or even do milk-based meals. Yup, it even boils milk — which makes it perfect for creamy noodles or hot cocoa when I’m feeling cozy.

It has three settings — two for boiling and one just to keep stuff warm. That “keep warm” button is clutch because sometimes I’m not ready to eat right away and it keeps everything perfect until I’m done working.

The only catch with milk is that it heats up super fast, so if you don’t stir, it will burn on the bottom. I’ve had that happen (and it’s annoying to scrub), but honestly, if you’re paying attention and stirring, it’s no big deal.

Oh, and cooking time? I made angel hair pasta with herbs in about 15 minutes today — right at my desk. Who even needs a breakroom anymore?

My Carry-All Trick 👜

I also found out that my Ninja Crispi Tote is the perfect bag to carry this little pot plus all my meal stuff. Everything fits, and it makes it so easy to bring to work without juggling a bunch of bags.

Pros & Cons (aka the real talk)

Things I love:

  • Small, portable, and easy to use
  • 1.6L is the perfect size for a single meal
  • Heats up fast (no hangry waiting)
  • 3 settings: 2 boil + 1 keep warm
  • Detachable cord (makes moving it easier)
  • Clear min/max lines so you don’t overfill
  • Works great with the Ninja Crispi Tote
  • It’s been reliable since Feb — no issues

Things I don’t love:

  • Milk scorches if you’re not stirring constantly
  • The cord is short
  • Takes a little experimenting to figure out timing for different foods

Final Thoughts

So if you’re wondering whether I’m Obsessed or Unimpressed with the Dezin Electric Pot? Easy: OBSESSED💯. I’d buy this again tomorrow if mine broke.

If you want to see it in action, check out my TikTok and YouTube— I’ve got videos of me cooking noodles, soups, and other desk meals with it.
