So⦠my brand new Ninja Swirl by CREAMi is sitting on the counter, still in the box. Yep, I havenāt opened it yet. Not because Iām not excited ā trust me, I am ā but life has been busy.
Between work, errands, and everything else, I havenāt had a moment to just sit down and dive into it. But honestly, thereās another reason Iāve been holding off⦠I want to go into this with a plan.
Hereās the thing ā I didnāt just buy this for me. I bought it thinking it might be a game-changer for my son. Iāve been brainstorming recipes he could make in the mornings that feel like a treat, but are secretly packed with fruit and maybe even some veggies.
Think fruit sorbets or breakfast āice creamā shakes made with yogurt, spinach, berries, or bananas. The goal? Something easy enough for him to help make, fun enough to get him excited about eating it, and healthy enough to help him get more of the good stuff throughout the day.
I have a feeling the Ninja Swirl could check all those boxes ā and maybe even turn mornings into something he looks forward to.
Of course, thereās one important thing to note ā the mixtures need to be frozen for at least 24 hours before they can be blended into ice cream or soft serve. That means I canāt just unbox it and immediately post a review video. Iāll need to plan ahead, prep the recipes, freeze them overnight, and then test them the next day.
So for now, the box is staying sealed just a little longer while I:
- Collect recipe ideas that are kid-friendly but healthy.
- Figure out how to make veggies disappear into the mix (mom magic).
- Make a list of flavors we both want to try first.
Once we crack this thing open, Iāll share our very first creations and, of course, give my honest Obsessed or Unimpressed verdict.
š¬ Let me know ā whatās your go-to healthy frozen treat flavor?
